It was a laudable initiative to bring all the stakeholders in International Logistics together. It is encouraging to note that for the future you plan to have similar sessions in other cities.
Kindly circulate the proceedings, highlighting the action points.
We wish you all the success in this praiseworthy endeavor.

The Knowledge Series is very informative and attracted many questions from aknowledgeable audience to elicit informed responses. In just a daylong session, the delegates were given deep insights into the ports and shipping sectors. It generated interested from those who were new and gave a clearer understanding to those who are veterans in the industry. The Speakers highlighted the existing pitfalls and showed the way forward.
Discussions on bulk cargoes brought out the vagaries in the demand and supply and the session of container trades highlighted hiccups of liner services which affect the movement of consumable goods for the common man.
Session of project cargoes was vibrant as pictorial images of over-dimensional cargoes moving through the cramped streets of a village highlighted the travails of transportation in India.
More such seminars throughout the length and breadth of the country will bring the insights of shipping and logistics to a larger cross section of the citizenry.

It was a pleasure and an honor to be invited to theinaugural seminar in the Knowledge Series' At the outset I must congratulateIBM for organizing it.
It was an unique approach away from the conventional style to share views of experts, with their wisdom born of experiences and knowledge in their own way,on this Open Platform rather than having structured slide presentation only. Selection of Speakers and Panelist was excellent and the series will go a long way in bringing much needed attention to the Ports& Shipping Sector.
I am personally grateful to IBM having invited me to panel a session on Security,a subject not very close to my heart but very crucial for this sector. I am looking forward to the next Event very keenly to cover some more challenges in this sector.

The Knowledge Series pioneered byIBM has certainly opened the doors for Port & Shipping Industry to the new intellectual inputs as priced take away by Delegates who attended the maiden Event, so brilliantly put together by the dedicated staff of IBM.
The concept of conducting such Knowledge Series under the guidance of the best talents available from the Industry also speaks volumes of their ability to organize a high profile and excellent quality program at short notice.
Finally almost full house and high percentage attendance through the whole day of deliberations proves one point, that what I have expressed is certainly not an exaggeration!
I wish IBM all the best for all such future programs. "
